On 11–12 June 2026, the HEALING BAT consortium gathered at TU Delft’s Faculty of Aerospace Engineering in Delft, The Netherlands, for the project’s ninth consortium meeting. The event brought together partners from across Europe to review progress, discuss upcoming milestones, and coordinate activities towards the successful delivery of the project’s objectives.

The meeting provided an opportunity for partners to exchange updates on ongoing technical developments, focusing on system integration activities, strategic planning, and preparations for future project reviews. Discussions also addressed performance indicators, risk mitigation measures, and coordination across the different work packages to ensure alignment with the project’s long-term goals.

The meeting also included a laboratory tour at TU Delft, allowing consortium members to gain further insight into the facilities and research activities supporting advanced battery technologies and innovation.

On the second day, partners participated in the Mini-Symposium “From Source to Second Life – Challenges in Battery Materials and Recycling”, hosted by TU Delft and organised within the framework of the HEALING BAT project. The symposium was open to researchers, industry representatives, and the wider community interested in sustainable battery technologies.

The consortium meeting and the accompanying symposium highlighted HEALING BAT’s commitment to advancing self-healing battery technologies while strengthening collaboration between research organisations, industry partners, and the broader battery community.
