The partner Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB) participated in the 7th International Energy Storage Materials Conference, held from 20 to 23 September 2026 in Dresden, Germany. The conference brought together international researchers and experts to discuss recent advances and future directions in energy storage materials and technologies.
During the event, the HZB team shared its latest research through oral and poster presentations covering sulfur host materials for lithium-sulfur batteries, advanced characterisation techniques, solid-state batteries, COF synthesis and synchrotron imaging. These contributions reflect HZB’s broader research activities in next-generation energy storage and support the development of advanced materials and concepts relevant to HEALING BAT.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to disseminate research linked to HEALING BAT, exchange knowledge with the international battery community and explore potential scientific collaborations.

Great collaboration can still fall short if each team interprets integration differently. ... Read More
