The HEALING BAT consortium gathered on the 19th and 20th of June 2025 to celebrate the project’s 4th General Assembly, just as it reaches its halfway point.
The event was held at the headquarters of the project partner Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin in Germany. All the other partners in the consortium were present, including Idneo, IREC, TU Dortmund, CPI, Coventry University, Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, TU Delft, Paul Scherrer Institute, FI Group and SupraPolix.
The meetings started with some welcome words by the project coordinator, Stefan Palzer, and continued with some highlights regarding project management, life cycle analysis, communication and dissemination, and exploitation.
Some discusssions were held about the definition of self-healing scenarios and contact points, as well as the definition of interfaces and scheduling.
To complement the meetings, HZB offered some laboratory tours, showing the pouch cell, tomography, and BESSY II facilities. Moreover, a visit was payed to the Lise Meitner Memorial, which commemorates one of the most eminent female scientists, a Jew physicist who fled into exile in 1938.
